Someone is sending emails to Dynadot customers trying to get our customers to go to a website and download an .EXE file. These emails are not from Dynadot and we encourage you to forward the emails to us and then delete the email.
The text of the email is as follows:
Dear user of the dynadot.com mailing service! We are informing you that because of the security upgrade of the mailing service your mailbox (tena@dynadot.com) settings were changed. In order to apply the new set of settings click on the following link:

This was not targeted to Dynadot customers specifically, but to your employees. At least the variants of this email that have reached my mailboxes.
ReplyDeleteThe spammers are sending emails to random names and known or generic emails at many domains, including some of mine's.
So your customers might get similar emails, but these would be targeted to their own domains and not to the Dynadot.com domain (again, at least that's what I've seen by now).
