Setting up your domain with Blogger is a two step process. First, you must create a CNAME record for your blog's address. Second, you must configure Blogger to use your custom domain.
Creating a CNAME record for your domain
- Log in to your Dynadot account.
- Click on the Domains tab at the top of the page.
- Check the box to the left of the domain name and click the Set Name Servers button.
- Click on the DNS tab.
- In the Domain Record section under Record Type select Forward. For the IP Address or Target Host box, type in http://www.yourdomain.ext (for example http://www.dynadot.me).
- In the Subdomain Records section under Subdomain, type in www as your first subdomain. Select CNAME as the Record Type. Under IP Address or Target Host type in ghs.google.com
- At the bottom of the page click Use Dynadot DNS
Configuring Blogger Settings
- Log in to your Blogger account
- Navigate to Dashboard-> Settings -> Publishing -> Custom domain -> Switch to advanced settings.
- In the Your Domain input box type in www.yourdomain.ext for example www.dynadot.com.
- In the Word Verification section, enter the captcha word
- Click Save Settings
